Piercing Information

Identification: No matter your age, you MUST have a valid ID in order to get a piercing.

Age: If you are 18+ you can get a piercing on your own. In other words. We will pierce 16 and 17-year-olds ONLY if you are accompanied by a parent, and you MUST bring a copy of your valid ID or a photo ID with your name on it, along with your birth certificate and parent’s ID. We reserve the right to refuse any piercing, and will not do any piercings on minors that are considered to be genital piercings. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Body Jewelry Quality: Sorry, but you cannot bring in your own jewelry to be pierced with. We only pierce with jewelry that is implant-grade and matches the minimum jewelry standard requirements of the APP (Association of Professional Piercers www.safepiercing.org). This is for your safety!!!

In technical terms, this means that we will only use:

  • Surgical Implant Stainless Steel, CrNMo 316LVM, ASTM F-138 (American Society for Testing and Materials). Standard Specification for Wrought 18 Chromium-14 Nickel-25 Molybdenum Stainless Steel Bar and Wire for Surgical Implants (UNS S31673) www.astm.org
  • Surgical Implant grades of Titanium, including Ti6A4V ELI, ASTM F-136 (American Society for Testing and Materials). www.astm.org
  • Solid 14 karat or higher white or yellow nickel-free gold.
