As you can see the external piece has threads on the post that can reopen, scratch and cut your piercing. The internally threaded piece is nice and smooth and will cause no trauma to tissue when it is inserted.

Also, our jewelry is made of Implant Grade Materials. Primarily we use Implant Grade Titanium and secondly implant grade stainless steel. Not only do we “say” we use implant grade jewelry we can prove it. We have metal certificates available upon request. As far as gems go for our body jewelry, all of our jewelry is press fit and not glued So if your gem falls out you can bring your piece back and we will gladly replace it. Also, all of our jewelry uses quality  Swarovski Crystals.
